The data provided by HDB is largely accurate, but at times it can be erroneous.
Recently, a record high $8,000 rental in Bukit Merah for a 3-room HDB was reported in Singapore news outlet. This raised eyebrows for a mere HDB with 2 bedrooms.
A few days later, the data was updated to $900.. Turns out, the landlord made a mistake when filling out the application.
